Redesigning the company Physician Payment Guides turned from a business desire to a business need after thorough investigation of competitor profiles. The original payment guides were an export from a 300+ line excel file, compressed as a flat file PDF. There was no ability to highlight, copy and paste, to search, or to have connecting sections through hot linking. There was also no branding associated for any of the business unit files. The new redesign accomplished all of these hurdles while giving these guides a professional and branded look, with future thinking for easy data import and loads for the future years.
